My cooking philosophy is to keep it simple and cook with
naturally produced ingredients just as Mother Nature intended. If you get your hands on good ingredients and treat them properly, you don’t need to do much at all.
I guess I’ve lived all over the world and experienced a lot
on my travels so it’s a bit hard to pin point what style
of cooking I prefer.

My early days in kitchens were spent in some of the best restaurants in the world, but let’s face it I’m an Aussie and pretty laid back so I like my food to be approachable and fun. After all isn’t that what it’s all about!

One thing you really can’t manufacture is passion. I mean when you’re passionate about something it really shows and sharing is one of my passions. I absolutely love to share good food and good wine…could there be a simpler way to unite family and friends? Or complete strangers for that matter.

I think it’s kind of intimate to cook for a special someone,
let’s face it you wouldn’t invite someone you didn’t like into
your home and offer to put on a spread.

The art of preparing a meal for someone is a special gift.
Food has an incredible ability to bring so much pleasure;
be it weddings, engagements, birthdays, or business deals, think about it, food is always involved…....and a homemade meal is the ultimate gift.

Curtis Stone Relaxed Cooking book signing tourHi Guys,
I'm so excited to have launched my new book; 'Relaxed Cooking with Curtis Stone: recipes to put you in my favourite mood.'

I've had a great month travelling across the USA on my book tour. Thank you to all the wonderful people who came out to meet me and have their copy signed. I hope you enjoy making lots of new recipes. Next month the book launches in Australia which I am really excited about and I will be in Canada in June to officially launch the book there. Details of the Canada tour will be posted on the website soon.

This weekend is Mother's Day, so a big kiss to all the special mums out there. I've also featured some sweet treats from the book to cook for your mum on this special day.

Thanks again for all the support.

Hi Guys,
One of the best things about my job is travelling and soaking up all the different cultures and cuisines of the cities I am lucky enough to visit.

Last month I visited Abu Dhabi, Toronto, New York, Chicago as well as a trip back home to Australia! In between all the travelling, I've been busy getting ready for my USA book tour which kicks off next month and I also managed to find time to swing by the Today Show and cook up some delicious easy to prepare recipes from my new book.

Abu Dhabi

Photos from Gourmet Abu DhabiLast month I was lucky to be a part of the amazing Gourmet Abu Dhabi which marries culture and cuisine reflecting both the city’s advanced modernisation and its rich Middle Eastern heritage.

Visiting Abu Dhabi was truly an amazing experience that I will remember forever. I got to meet some incredible chefs and tasted some delicious food, as well as learning a lot about the culture which I found intriguing and I have an incredible respect for.

I think the most memorable moment was when I visited a mosque in Abu Dhabi. When I walked into the main room of the mosque it literally took my breath away.

So enjoy and Bon Appétit!
