My cooking philosophy is to keep it simple and cook with
naturally produced ingredients just as Mother Nature intended. If you get your hands on good ingredients and treat them properly,you don’t need to do much at all.
I guess I’ve lived all over the world and experienced a lot
on my travels so it’s a bit hard to pin point what style
of cooking I prefer.
My early days in kitchens were spent in some of the best restaurants in the world, but let’s face it I’m an Aussie and pretty laid back so I like my food to be approachable and fun. After all isn’t that what it’s all about!
One thing you really can’t manufacture is passion. I mean when you’re passionate about something it really shows and sharing is one of my passions. I absolutely love to share good food and good wine…could there be a simpler way to unite family and friends? Or complete strangers for that matter.
I think it’s kind of intimate to cook for a special someone,
let’s face it you wouldn’t invite someone you didn’t like into
your home and offer to put on a spread.
The art of preparing a meal for someone is a special gift.
Food has an incredible ability to bring so much pleasure;
be it weddings, engagements, birthdays, or business deals, think about it, food is always involved…....and a homemade meal is the ultimate gift.
