Protecting the kitchen bench or table surface is not the only attraction of my silicone trivet. Sandwiched inside is a magnet. Put a metal pot on it and the magnet sticks to the base. Move the pot, and the trivet goes with it. The trivet has 101 uses around the kitchen and you’ll wonder how you ever got by without it. My tip, stick it to the fridge when it’s not being used and you’ll never lose it.
